PRINKED INK

After doing some research I have decided to use the term   PRINKED INK   for my graphic designs.
The word Prink means to "dress for show."  And since there were no results that came up for the word, I have chosen it to represent the Graphic arts end of my endeavors. So the following bits of art are layers of texture and design elements, sometimes on pictures and sometimes just mouse art, that can be changed up by changing the layers.

This gorgeous mix of peaches and cream  roses with freesia, and stephonitos
looks like it's painted on a woven mat.  But look how it is enhanced by making it into
a cartoon, and adjusting the pic to look guilded! (below)

Black n Whites
Queen Anne's Lace
An actual photo with filter and gamma changes, as an opposite of itself. If I take the black or the white
and convert them to alpha, I can place any color behind in the background that I want. It will make a cleaner finished product than a mere change of hue and contrasts.

The examples below are paintings done in Gimp, of Freesia,
in which color changes, shading etc are done on different layers. The ease of changing up
the look and intensity of the paintings makes future changes easy as well.

New Pressed Flower Art:  Shamrock blooms in May

The tiny blooms of Shamrocks which I pressed in May, are versatile little props.  Not all pressed things retain the lovely shape when pressed. I took pics of them scattered in a multitude of ways.  Below is one of the frames prinked to different degrees and then dressed to show:
I emphasized the edges with the cartoon filter.
I did multiple kinds of colorization, and change of hues, contrast, and brightness on some, I changed the color curve on others.
I was looking for degrees of texture and the appearance of art.  One of my favorites is to clothify, and this velvety appearance that a series of events makes is one of my favs.
To get the ghostly look of the blooms an inversion must be done.

These can become huge files in a hurry. Beware.
