Prinked Projects

WHAT KEEPS ME BUSY??? (for more prinked projects, click here.)
I have so many ideas some days that I can't get it started much less done.

Maybe you will enjoy seeing some of the things that keep me busy:
Kitchen Rescue
Canning late last summer, added more clutter to my
already non-functioning kitchen. So we ordered 2 custom
cabinets, with shelves measured to hold everything in
boxes in my kitchen floor. Absolutely everything from
canning jars to canner, and all the cook ware that was
too big for my cabinets...FITS. Hurray.
All those years of standin on my tip toes to reach my
canned food and spices, or on my head trying to find
the flour and the paper plates. OVER. And am
I glad. A pantry cabinet was the ticket.
Took me days to line the shelves with clear
plastic and organize, But what a reward!

Co-ordinated Storage from Thirty-one let me put like things together.
Snack foods in one, juices and drink mixes in another, canning jars in a large one,
and rings, and canning supplies in another.  No more stuff falling off a shelf in
my face! Hurray!!!

Inspired by a polka dot gift box my daughter gave me and an aprom I
found with the same, I bought pieces of fabric and cut squares to put
under the rings of my canned food and empty jars to protect them from
the greasy film that collects in a kitchen. Don't they dress up the shelf.
I found a cute square plate and a candle for the shelf.
Loose items are handy and tidy in my large dot storage from
Thirty-one Products which my daughter sells.
It was so pretty,
I couldn't bear to close
the door. So
I left it open and hung the apron on the door.

There is room on top to stand up my favorite giant
turkey platter, and the containers in which I use to
store my dried and pressed flowers.

I am hooked on storage and organization.
Now for the rest of the house!
HA.

Dried peonies in the glass vase, and dried dogwood blossoms in the dotted box, along with some pressed shamrocks.  Above I have cinnamon and other bulk dried spices in my vintage jars.
